In the Fog!!

Got out on the Ottawa River this morning. Launched at 7:30 AM from Dick Bell Park and was greeted by a thick fog. Had to navigate using the GPS. The Walleye didn't mind, they were on fire, ended up with about twenty including a few nice ones in the 3 lb. class. As soon as the fog lifted about 10 AM they shut down and not a single bite after that.
Was using bottom bouncers with slow death hooks on Seguar about 3 feet back in 20 to 30 feet of water. Sorry no pics, definately need a net man during the week.

At it Again (Carp)

The kiddies enjoyed a recent trip for Carp so much that I had to promise them one more kick at the can before school started.

This is the results from that trip today that the kiddies made me promise to take them on last week. We did better, landing 6 of 8 bites. Brenden got the big one of the day 20.3 lbs and Lianna got the minnow award with 7.7 lbs. They even allowed the old man to bring one in. Brenden not used to getting up at 5 AM after a night of partying with his buddies, was caught having a nap in the grass.

Lianna and the minnow award fish, 7.7 lbs. Not bad for the smallest one of the day.

They even let the old let the old man bring one in.

Did I say that this is the laziest type fishing and the kiddies just love it, me to.

Great kids and great time was had by all.... Will be headed down again in a couple of weeks during the week. Now that the kiddies will be back at school next week, Grandpa can do a little trout fishing.
