I love to fish for trout but because I am a little older was having trouble doing what I enjoyed so much.
Came up with a plan so I could continue to explore the back country lakes and still enjoy the fishing
that they have to offer.
Picked up an ATV last year that I used a lot for ice fishing. Also exchanged my old heavy Grumman canoe for a 12 foot Scott Squareback canoe that is 18 lbs. lighter and easier for this old fart to handle alone, if need be. Final part of the plan was to design and construct a rack to carry the Scott to some of the back country lakes that I like to fish and explore more lakes that I haven't fished yet. Below is the finished product.
